The Delta X18 is capable of delivering an enormous maximum SPL of 134dB. For comparison, the deafening whine of an air raid siren is 130dB. So it’s safe to say that this compact loudspeaker packs a pretty hefty punch. But that’s not all. Wharfedale Pro’s custom transducers mean you can enjoy detailed full-range sound from 45Hz to 20kHz, with every nuance of your sound being produced with exceptional clarity. And with balanced coverage, every member of your audience can experience the Delta X sound.

Every Delta X loudspeaker has been built to withstand the demanding nature of performance and event environments. With a 15mm Russian Birch plywood cabinet, the Delta X18 has been crafted for maximum durability. The wood used for the cabinet is even more dense than MDF, and results in a cabinet with extreme strength with extra tolerance in damp conditions. Plus, with its ability to hold screws significantly better than more traditional cabinet materials, you can be sure that your speaker can deal with tough and extreme conditions.

But that’s not all. Delta X loudspeakers boast a new internal crossover design. Securely tied-down components and enhanced premium glues, as well as new positioning and bracing means that the sensitive components of the crossover perform better for longer. The long-term performance and reliability of these new crossover designs is even suitable for ultra-high volume levels.

And lastly, the Delta X series boasts an incredibly durable Rhino Rock paint finish. This paint features a chip-resistant texture with a professional and discreet look. So your loudspeakers can remain protected throughout their life on the road.
